Celesio delighted with first issue

The first edition of Be… magazine has landed, and the Celesio UK internal communications team is delighted with the finished result ? as is Headlines.

Be… was launched as the ‘champion’ communication channel to inform, educate and entertain colleagues in the Celesio UK network, which was formed by the integration of Lloydspharmacy, AAH Pharmaceuticals and smaller businesses in August 2012. The new quarterly magazine is at the heart of the restructure and rebrand, communicating with its workforce of more than 20,000 and creating a community sense within the group.

Ella Myles, Internal Communications Manager, and Luke Hamer, Communications and Channels Lead, work on the magazine in collaboration with the Headlines team. Luke said: “The magazine is a powerful, stylish, engaging and informal read that balances a friendly tone of voice with informative content and best-in-class design.”

Ella added: “It brings our strategic priorities, values and ways of working to life. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result.”

But it’s not just the internal communications team that’s delighted ? Be… has gone down a storm on the floor, where it really matters, too, with one reader saying: “Bright, clean, great photography.” Another added: “I really loved the magazine – slick, informative and very readable. A nice mix of relevant and interesting information and light-hearted stuff, with an overall ‘feel good’ factor for the Group we work for.”

Celesio UK and Headlines are now working on the second edition, which is guaranteed to be as fabulous as the first.
