Headlines’ birthday: internal comms agency comes of age

Headlines internal comms agency celebrates 18th birthday

November 1, 2013

Headlines is 18 years old today – November 1.

Our internal comms agency began as a one man band back in 1995 – amid the heady days of Britpop and Gazzamania.

MD Peter Doherty won his first paid-for contract for an internal newsletter in November 95, working from a spare bedroom as the Headlines journey began.

As well as burning desire to be the best, Peter had a belief – the power of communication can change people’s lives.

Fast forward almost two decades and look at how we’ve grown.

With a workforce of almost 40 and a raft of blue chip clients across the world, we’re now a leading internal communications agency in the UK.

Don’t take our word for it.

The Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) recently recognised Headlines as one of the country’s best IC agencies.

We were named in the ‘Best agency’ category after a hugely successful 2012 – and won FOUR awards in September.

We’ve certainly come a long way since the mid-nineties. And we’re planning to get even better.

Thanks for all the support and helping Headlines become the success story it is today.

Here’s to the next 18 years!
