Headlines’ video and social media know-how has been recognised by a panel of industry digital experts.
We have been shortlisted for three prestigious awards at the inaugural Milton Keynes Digital Awards.
The awards have been established this year to highlight the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across Milton Keynes.
Our video team has been nominated in the ‘Use of Video for Business’ category for its work with Lafarge Tarmac while judges shortlisted Headlines’ digital team in two further areas – ‘Blog’ and ‘Use of Social Media in Business’.
Martin Smith, Headlines’ Social Media Manager, said: “As one of the UK’s leading internal communication agencies, our business had always been heavily connected with award-winning print products.
“With digital driving the evolution of communication, we knew change was needed – and immersed ourselves into social media.
“We’re delighted to receive this recognition from the MKDA 2015 awards – another indication our fresh approach was the right move to make.”
Iain Johnson, from Premio64, the organisation behind the MKDA said: “Competition was extremely high for MKDA and the response from the borough has been breathtaking.
“The awards offer a fantastic opportunity for businesses, charities and schools to be recognised for the brilliant work that they do online.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at Cranfield University on December 3.
The awards follow hot on the heels of another digital success – with Headlines being lauded
as having the best app in the UK internal communication industry.
IC experts named Tullow World, the digital publication produced by Headlines for Tullow Oil Plc, as the Best App at the IoIC Awards 2015 last month.
