When Headlines turned yellow for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Headlines stages Cystic Fibrosis Trust fundraiser

Bright, fun and cheerful was the dress choice du jour at Headlines last Wednesday.

To raise money for our Charity Of The Year, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the office turned a shade of yellow for the day as everyone donned daffodil-coloured clothing.

Some even went a step further, with one Headliner dressing up as a bee and others sporting attractive high-vis jackets on top of their usual working attire.

Wear Yellow Wednesday raised £45, with a guess the baby competition run by the client services team raising a further £23 on Friday.

Alicia Babaee, Head of Marketing, said: “There was a real feel-good factor in the office all week as not only is yellow the happiest colour there is, but it’s also such a great feeling to be doing something positive for charity.

“We chose this charity because one of our colleagues has cystic fibrosis, so it’s a cause we really do believe in and want to help make a difference to.”

An office vote put The Cystic Fibrosis Trust – which sports yellow as its brand colour – miles ahead of the other four charities in the mix.

With a target of £1,000 for the year, the team is well on its way to smashing it – and hopefully raising even more – by May next year.
