What is your favourite thing to read?
I like Mindhunter by John Douglas, it's a book about an FBI agent who started to investigate why serial killers thought the way they did. He interviewed some infamous killers like Ted Bundy and Charles Manson and the book goes into detail behind their thought process and crime scenes.
Why is it your favorite?
I like the psychology and forensic detail behind it, it’s interesting to see how our world has changed over the years in these fields.
What drew you in initially?
I only seem to read books that are bought for me by my friends; in university, I lived with some girls that studied English Literature and they were constantly reading so they got me into reading by buying me books. For some reason, they always bought me books about different serial killers … but I do enjoy them.
What does it make you think about or feel?
It makes me question why serial killers don’t feel guilty over what they have done. They are so matter of fact about killing their victims and their thinking is very fascinating in a morbid way. It makes me think about how these people can do these things to others and not have any remorse.
