Headlines’ new website nominated for SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards

We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for ‘Website of the Year’ at the 2019 SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards

Our site was redeveloped earlier this year and relaunched in October, with the aim of reflecting our new agency ethos around the beauty of simplicity and plain English.

We are joined in our category by illustrious company, such as fellow agencies WSA and Cygnus – who also relaunched their website earlier this year – and training company ECG.

The rebuild was masterminded by Lead Designer Megan Jones, who said:

“When you are a creative agency, it’s tempting to create a fussy, overly complex website to try and impress potential clients. Our approach was different because we wanted to strip away all of the clutter to focus on what is really important and what clients will be interested in: our work and our people.”

On the nomination, Co-MD Peter Handford said:

“It’s amazing that our website is being recognised like this as we are very proud of what we have achieved. The site gives us an opportunity to showcase the great things we create for clients such as Shell, Nestlé and Curry’s PC World, and is a source of enormous pride and morale for our team of local writers and designers.”

If we are lucky enough to win this award, we will then be entered into the national SME business awards – so there is lots to play for!
